There are various names to consider when it comes to salad dressing, some which are healthier than others. Thousand Island dressing is one such name to consider and types like French and Italian are commonplace as well. However, when items like these are viewed as unhealthy, there may be other alternatives to look to. Organic olive oil can be used for this purpose but the benefits associated with this product, in relation to salad, are more than worth learning about.

According to a report published on the Telegraph, salad decorated with organic olive oil can pose a number of benefits. What about the presence of good fats, in this oil, that can work with the body in order to limit the amounts of negative fats and cholesterol? According to the article, taking in about two thirds of a teaspoon of organic olive oil can reduce the impact, to the heart, made by air pollution. Keep in mind that air pollution is an instance that can harm just about anyone, humans, animals, and plants included. Short-term effected tied to air pollution include - but are not limited to - irritation to the eyes and coughing fits. More extensive lengths of exposure, though, could lead to more serious conditions, lung cancer included.

What are some of the sources of air pollution that can cause these things, though? When you are working on a car, exposed to the fumes that come from a motor, chances are that your body will suffer from air pollution. In addition, when fossil fuels are burned in factories and even homes, the resulting soot and ash can negative affect the air around us. As a result, it's important to understand the importance of care and the diet, in regards to this type of oil, falls in line with this level of thinking.

It can be argued that the oil itself can be taken into the body on its own without any other foods.
