How To Give A Back Massage Raleigh

Whenever people would stress out their body because of work or just moving around too much, the body part that will be most affected would actually be the back which would contain the spine. Now if a person moves around a lot like rushing to work or is simply stressed out all the time, the muscles in his back will really take it bad. Of course when massaging this area, the first thing to think about would be the position of the masseur or masseuse and the one being massaged. Now the one being massaged should lay on his front with his arms and legs down. The masseur or masseuse will have to acquire a kneeling position beside the receiver.

Now the first thing that the one massaging should do would be to start with the base of the neck. Now before the session even begins, one has to first make sure that he places his right hand on the base of the neck and the other on the base of the spine. From there, he should just hold that position for a while.

After doing that little warm up, one may now put some oil on the body of the receiver and start with everything. Now the very first place to start would be the area that is just above the bottom which is somewhere in the gut or stomach area. Now the one massaging has to use his whole hands to massage that part with the fingers pointing upward.

Once that is already done, then the next part that one should aim for would be the part right above the gut which is the part that contains the rib cage. For this part, he should use his thumbs to rub the area of the back around the spine. Now it is here that he may actually start applying some pressure.

From there, keep on moving up until the upper back region is reached. Now one will be just using his thumbs all the way so that he will be able to pinpoint certain pressure points that would be able to heal the body. Now it is here that he may either apply more pressure or he may lessen the pressure.

From there, he may now go to the shoulder area. Now one should stay in the shoulder area rather longer than the other parts because this is where all the stress is located. If one would feel that there is a tight muscle lump on the shoulders of the receiver, he should work on loosening those lumps as they are muscle cramps.

Now the last part of this process would be massaging the neck area. Now this produces more of a relaxing effect on the receiver as the neck has nerves that would induce relaxation. From there, quickly rub all parts of the back and finish up.
