Candida cleansing is another aspect that should be considered when doing total body cleansing. The first step is to eliminate all the fermented foods and those containing yeast from your diet. Avoid sugary foods (including fruits) as well as natural sweeteners such as raw honey. Other food products to avoid include refined flours, alcoholic drinks, mushrooms and soy sauce. You can reintroduce them gradually after the period of detoxification (usually a week).

In some cases, there is a need to cut down on these harmful foods and beverages for the long term so as to limit the rate of accumulation. A detox program is only useful if done regularly and in the right manner.
