Kettlebells and Kettlebell Exercises: Not a Scam Like Some of Those Other Workouts

By Brent Neenan

If you're ever up during those wee hours in the middle of the night when you just can't get to sleep or even must be awake in those foggy morning hours then it is likely you've seen plenty of infomercials in your time. A good number that air, pertain to fitness and illustrate workouts that provides great results in less and less time with less and less effort. In reality though, most of these known workouts are actually scams. Kettlebells and kettlebell exercises though are true to the claims and provide effective workouts in short amounts of time.

First off we should compare kettlebells to a blatant offender; the 15 minute workout. Obviously a 15 minute workout seems too good to be true and that is because it is. You cannot possibly get the workout for a toned, lean and sculpted body in 15 minutes. That doesn't even give a person enough time to warm up and cool down right. Any workout that is providing results in short periods of times is nearly always a scam. The only way to complete a quick and efficient workout is to utilize kettlebells and kettlebell exercises. The fact of the matter is kettlebells engage your whole body and numerous muscle groups concurrently and require less time than a traditionally effective workout on something such as a treadmill.

Have you ever seem advertisements for those electronic abdomen exercises? The concept behind those is that weight loss and tone can be attained by the way of electrical impulse that delivers a weak shock to the area of concern and causes the muscles to tighten. Even though these gadgets are used widely in the medical field there is no proven effect on weight loss. If you want to lose weight you clearly need to exert energy, raising your heart rate. To let a machine do the work for you doesn't actually help your body. Kettllebells by Lorna on the flipside do require both effort and concentration and the results are actually positive.

Supplements that state to be "a workout in a bottle" are similar to the electronic ab exercises in that with little effort, they can aid in weight loss and a tonedbody. While vitamins and supplements can aid in a healthier lifestyle, they definitely will not replace a workout. The old saying "no pain, no gain" really lends itself to the whole workout idea. While a few things may aid in a better workout, putting the time and effort to get fit is really the only way to see results. With kettlebell exercises, you can feel the way the weights are working and toning your body, and you can feel good knowing you are challenging yourself.

Kettlebells and kettlebell exercises are a great way to work out and whip your body into shape. Not like so many of the other scams out there, kettlebells actually do what they are intended. When you hear the phrase "too good to be true" remember it probably is unless it's a kettlebell workout.
