You can, however, uses prohormone supplements if you need to gain muscle mass or strength for your competition.

Prohormones are hormones in the making; they are one small element away from providing you with the same results you would see if you had more naturally in your body. The missing ingredient is manufactured in your cells and joins with the supplement.

Without having to be digested, it gets to the blood stream much quicker. Users do admit this administration is a bit rough on the nasal passages; it burns and damages tissue.

The fourth way to get the prohormones into your blood is with a transdermal patch. It is a relatively new method with many enjoying its ease and simplicity. It is a good idea to try the patch for yourself to find out how effective it is for you.

One of the important conditions with using prohormone supplements is the frequency with which you need to take them. There has been much research surrounding this at competitive edge labs. The results have determined a two hour half-life of the precursors. This means, to keep a steady supply of them in your body, you need to take every four hours. They have also found the effects to be at their highest 90 minutes after taking they get into your system. It is best to take them 60 minutes prior to competing.
