How to get the Perfect Body: Use Kettlebells

By Mike Sherman

Celebrity fitness, the golden standard for what the public strives to achieve. People want to look the way their beloved celebrities look. Whether up on the stage or the silver screen, actors and performers set the physical standard of our culture. Everyone is trying to find the secret of how celebrities get into phenomenal shape. One growing trend is the use of the kettlebell and doing kettlebell exercises.

An example of a star using kettlebell exercise to achieve "godlike" physical shape is Chris Hemsworth. In order to play in the movie "Thor", Hemsworth had to look like he had the comic book characters power of superhuman strength, power, and endurance. In order to play a Goliath warrior on the big screen, Hemsworth had to train like a Goliath warrior off screen.

According to his article with Men's Fitness, Hemsworth split his regime into two pieces. The first part was a high-weight, low rep workout designed to pack on maximum mass similar to what body-builders do. The second part of the workout was designed as total-body workouts that burn his excess fat while upholding his muscles gains. This second part is where the kettlebell exercises played a huge role.

Having to establish a workout plan requires a good amount of planning but it doesn't compare to the work to come in order to actually complete it. In his Men's Fitness article, Hemsworth admits that he had to work extremely hard in the kettlebell exercise because he'd never used them and they are a heavy combination of cardio and weightlifting. He stated that kettlebells are a "great way to build functional strength". This shows how great they are for athletes or people looking to cross train.

He also says that the kettlebell workouts demonstrate that if you are ready to push yourself, you can get the results you've always wanted. Many people who work out consistently and maintain their schedule say that the more you work out, the more energy you will have. It is the concept that an object that is moving will continue to move, where as an object that is stationary will stay that way.
